Announcing our new book! "Coaching: Intentionally Simple"
Past Projects
Intentional Legacy has been able to partner with people since 2013 in helping them pursue their intentional legacy. Not all projects can be highlighted due to the anonymity of the situation.

High School Student - Fresh Start
A young man from Cherokee County has successfully graduated from a life-changing program that helped him overcome a life-controlling drug addiction. His family made significant sacrifices to enroll him in this program, which provided him with excellent academics and values through hands-on learning experiences. Someone close to this young man used Intentional Legacy to raise money to help cover the cost of this life-changing program, designed not only to heal him but also to sharpen his character and leadership skills. Through specific service and educational requirements, he was equipped to continue on his new, healthier path.
Having faced challenges that most do not experience, this young man emerged stronger and more prepared for the future. His identity remains private, but the impact of the program, along with the support from his family and community, has been profound.

Lia Petty - Impact360
Lia Petty, a recent high school graduate, is excited to embark on a new journey through the Fellows Program at Impact 360 Institute. This nine-month residential discipleship and leadership initiative aims to deepen students' faith through experiential learning, dynamic teaching, vibrant community, and servant leadership training. One of the highlights of the program is an international mission trip, where students have the opportunity to serve alongside local Christian missionaries in either Brazil or South Africa.
Lia raised community support through Intentional Legacy to help make this mission trip possible, where she will not only serve but also learn about the unique ways the church in these countries contributes to God's kingdom. This year, Lia is committed to focusing on living, learning, and serving God boldly in every aspect of her life. She is grateful for the support of those who will join her in making this meaningful experience a reality.

Corinna's Stars and Stripes Award
Corinna used Intentional Legacy to collect support for her Stars and Stripes award - building a neighborhood food pantry. Here are here words:
"I have been a part of American Heritage Girls since Kindergarten and I am now working on my final project to complete my journey in American Heritage Girls, the Stars & Stripes Award. I will be building a 36x24x36 inch pantry that will hold food and other necessary items. This will help people in need that are right inside our community. I believe as Christ-followers we are called to love our neighbors, which are the people around us. I also find it so sad that anyone in our community is hungry or lacking in any needs, as we are called to give to the needy. My project is based off of Matthew 22:39, which says, "love your neighbor as yourself." This neighborhood food pantry is going to fulfill that and is also going to be a gift that can be given to other neighborhoods or communities through a building manual, so they too can love their neighbors. I also have a big heart for kids and would love to pursue that in my career. Because of that I am dedicating a shelf to children so that they can always feel loved, seen, and cared about. Overall, I believe that this project can help so many families in need that one might not suspect are in need, and through this project, the Name of the Lord will be evident and will be praised. I would love it if you could help me! I will be raising approximately $425 to cover the cost of this project. Any extra amount of money will go directly to Intentional Legacy and will be used to help others in need! Any amount of money will help! Once my Stars & Stripes project is completed, I would love to follow up with you with photos and stories of what your donation has contributed to in our community.
Thank you so much for your donations!"

Batman's Family
Intentional Legacy came alongside a family during change of employment

A Van for Anna
The funds for this project helped Anna buy a van for her family!

Emma Hahn in Honduras
Emma has chosen to live in Honduras for a few months to accomplish two things. Her passion is to show people how they should be loved through spreading the word of GOD. The second reason is because she wants to truly learn the Spanish language through immersion into the culture. She is doing this on her own versus through an organization because it significantly reduces expenses and she can be certain that funds raised can be used to buy the actual supplies the students/school she is serving needs.

Serving to Protect
Founder, Sheila McPhilamy is a professional private investigator who has pursued justice for her clients whether it is child abuse, missing persons, assaults or murders since 2008. She has seen firsthand the unimaginable heartbreak for some families who have absolutely no option to pursue justice or closure. Serving to Protect allows her to provide her services for these families.

Finals Goodie Bags
Our first official Intentional Legacy project ever was delivering 100 snack-filled “finals goodie bags” for students in an under-served school in Milledgeville, GA. Each bag contained a handwritten note of encouragement as well.

Sharon in Haiti
Intentional Legacy helped Sharon live out her Intentional Legacy in Haiti!

Working Hard Yet Needed Help
Intentional Legacy was able to come alongside a family at risk for losing their house due to underemployment after their 25 year career became obsolete due to technology advances. The boost allowed them to catch their breath and gave them time to work with the bank as they readjusted to the financial setback.

Septic Tank
A family moved into a home and the septic system had an epic failure with a price tag that was overwhelming for a family where both of the parents are committed teachers and community service champions.

Appalachian Trail
We were able to support a young woman who hiked the entire Appalachian Trail and is developing an organization to help women with PTSD learn and heal through nature.

Private Adoption
Intentional Legacy raised funds to support a local private adoption.

Elizabeth in Zambia
Intentional Legacy helped support Elizabeth as she lived out her Intentional Legacy in Zambia!

Jordan in Haiti
ntentional Legacy helped support Jordan as she lived out her intentional legacy serving the Tucker Family in Granvide, Haiti.

Lussna's Cards
These beautiful cards made by Lussna were for sale in our store. She began making these cards while living in Zambia. She has moved to multiple countries in her life and recently relocated to Germany. Lussna loves to create with the purpose of giving to others. These cards are made with chitenge fabric from the Zambian culture and shweshwe fabric from the South African Culture.

Miracle Car
A dear friend & long time supporter of Intentional Legacy projects came along side a single mom (RB) who escaped a dangerous and physically abusive relationship. Through hard work she has been able to move her precious little family from homelessness into an apartment, but had to walk several miles to work, sometimes even at night. We are thankful to everyone who donated to provide a car for RB and her boys!! In her words, "My faith in Jesus Christ has always been the light in showing me the way."
